Private Banquets: We offer two private banquet rooms. The seating capacity of our large Banquet Room is 48 and the small Banquet Room is 16. Our upstairs balcony seats 48 and downstairs covered patio seats 20. Buy-out of the entire restaurant is available for private parties upon request. We also provide off-site catering services for any size party at the location of your choice.
Private Cooking & Wine Pairing Class with Chef Didier: Chef Didier teaches cooking & wine pairing class by special request for private parties of 15 or more. Both educational and fun, students participate in the preparation of and then enjoy a three course meal paired with specially selected wines. This popular class is perfect for celebrations such as birthday parties and bridal showers, as well as corporate events.
Reservations: To reserve one of our private banquet rooms, we request a $300 deposit to secure your room. This deposit will be deducted from the total charge at the time of the banquet. Tax and Gratuity: Ventura County sales tax of 7.50% & a service charge of 20% will automatically be added to your final bill.
Choosing a Menu: In order to offer you a special dining experience at 71 Palm Restaurant, we will provide you with suggested Banquet Menus to choose from. Room Fee of $300 is waived when ordering these menus. Choose from one of these Banquet menus and make selections from our Hors D’Oeuvres menu or request Chef Didier's assistance in creating your own special occasion menu and in selecting wines that pair well with your menu. Guest Count Policy: Final Guest Count is required at least 1 week (2 weeks Thanksgiving-New Year’s Day) prior to the date of your event.
Cancellation Policy: Banquet reservations must be cancelled at least 1 week (2 weeks Thanksgiving-New Year’s Day) prior to date of event to receive full deposit refund. If cancelled less than one week prior to event (or 2 weeks Thanksgiving – New Year’s Day), the deposit is non-refundable.
