"As a fourth generation Californian, I've seen a lot of change. I have always loved the unique qualities of the southern California landscape: from ocean to oaks to desert and farm land. I felt compelled to document my impression of it as it continues to undergo numerous changes.

I was born and raised in Ventura, California where I live with my husband and three children. I received my formal art education at Cabrillo College in Aptos, California and UC Santa Barbara, College of Creative Studies where I received a degree in studio art in 1982."

Located in the historic seaside town of Ventura, guests enjoy casual elegant dining in this charming historic 1910 landmark cottage, adjacent to Mission San Buenaventura and overlooking both beautiful downtown Ventura and California's lush central coastline.

•  71 Palm also offers off site catering services as well as Private Banquet Rooms, the perfect setting for private parties such as birthday, anniversary, and retirement celebrations, rehearsal dinners, weddings, wedding and baby showers, Bar and Bat Mitzvah celebrations, and corporate events.
